Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Vector Coach collects, how it is used, and the controls available to you.
Vector Coach stores information you enter in the app, including profile details, goals, body metrics, daily check-ins, coach messages, coach memory, and imported journey notes.
If you grant Apple Health access, Vector Coach reads the HealthKit activity, workout, sleep, heart-rate, and body metrics you approve. Apple Health access is optional.
Your data is used to provide fitness coaching, explain progress signals, maintain coach memory, sync your signed-in account, support subscriptions, answer support requests, and improve app reliability.
Health and fitness data is not used for advertising and is not sold to third parties.
Vector Coach is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Scores, trends, reminders, and coaching responses are for general wellness and informational purposes only.

When you are signed in, Vector Coach syncs baseline account activity, metric snapshots, coach messages, and coach memory to Supabase for account continuity.
Some features use third-party AI processing. After you give in-app permission, coach requests and selected imported text may be sent through Vector Coach Supabase functions to OpenAI so the app can generate coaching responses and structured memory candidates.
When you use AI coaching or Bring Your Journey, Vector Coach may send your coach message or imported text, plus relevant profile details, goals, check-ins, coach memory, body metrics, workouts, sleep, heart-rate, and HealthKit activity data you approved.
This data is sent to Vector Coach's Supabase backend and to OpenAI's API only to provide the requested AI feature. OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs are not used to train models by default. Vector Coach does not sell health or fitness data and does not use HealthKit data for advertising.
Vector Coach requires service providers that process personal data on its behalf to protect that data with safeguards appropriate for the sensitivity of the information and to process it only for the services requested.
Apple Health permissions are optional and can be changed in the Apple Health app at any time. Vector Coach requests only fitness and body data used for coaching.
Vector Coach may write body metrics you choose to save back to Apple Health.
Vector Coach relies on general wellness and fitness sources such as Apple HealthKit privacy documentation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans, and CDC sleep information. These sources are linked inside the app under Settings, Health sources.
You can delete local data from your device or delete your Vector Coach account from Account settings. Account deletion removes the Supabase account and cloud rows associated with that account, then clears local Vector Coach data on that device.
Vector Coach is operated by Tinker Crab LLC. For privacy requests, use in-app Support or the public support page.
